No matter what negative comments you get. Shrug them off. You are correct in your assessment.
Last night I decided to run a few Rushdowns myself, even though I told myself I wasn’t going to after the first week.
Calus was damn near impossible. I did get it done, but why, why on earth would you want to do that???
It’s just isn’t the same anymore. Hopefully they will have a Destiny 3 and make it some type of prequel. There would be so much potential with a prequel storyline

They’ve been pretty adamant that they are not doing D3 because they’d rather not repeat D2 which had everyone restart and lose all their loot There’s Destiny Rising if you want a prequel - in another timeline lol

That’s an app though right? If so, no thanks. I would rather a D3 be a fresh start. A completely different game

And D2 had such an overwhelmingly negative response that they don’t want to do that

They could’ve handled it better for sure. I didn’t like losing my stuff, but they could’ve wrote a better story and used that story to shape how we get reskinned weapons back.

Then you’d be getting complaints about “re-skinned content” D3 has more cons than pros They’re sticking with making it a long running mmo
