Author of that warlock video a lot of you are referencing here, for preface A lot of people here are going completely against the point of my feedback, I'm not by any means offering the feedback that other classes need to be nerfed. The point I was making is that some warlock subclasses are severely undertuned currently and for all intensive purposes are apparently being ignored by Bunige (Mainly talking Solar Aspects, Dawnblade in PvE, Arc as a whole, and the recent Strand aspect), which is being further compounded by the seasonal exotic armor drops being situational pieces that are for all intensive purposes pointless (And yes, all three classes get these types of pieces, but it honestly feels like the seasonal exotics for the past 2-3 years have been nothing but these for Warlocks). Neutral game exotics and exotics that augment abilities are the most popular on Warlocks because of the identity of the class itself, it's why Starfire and Sunbracers are so popular for solar (Crown of Tempest for Arc, Osmiomancy for Stasis, etc), knocking down Starfire isn't going to fix the problem if Bungie isn't going to take the time to rework underperfoming exotics to fit these roles more adequately. But we all see the usual responses pertaining to Well of Radiance. I'll be completely honest here, if Bungie actually made any of the other supers worth using in an endgame environment, I would be off of Well of Radiance in a heartbeat, but no, I watch a full stormtrance tickle an unstoppable champion, chaos reach do next to nothing, nova bomb still feeling weak. Hell, about the only super that feels good to use right now is Winter's Wrath for CC capabilities, but now you have Strand builds doing this even more effectively than stasis. A lot of these problems I feel originate from the recent paradigm shift that Bungie wants to make moving the game away from ability play, when the Warlock class is primarily supposed to be focusing on abilities. This is the big reason why I think these problems for the most part are being brushed aside. So the big takeaway here? Are there potent aspects to Warlock, absolutely. Are there things that are severely lacking at the same time? Yes, and that is what I want to see addressed.
