My issue is more the slow leaching of class identity between all 3. 3.0 subclass reworks were largely a success but the one area that I think got hit hard was class identity. Warlocks were meta because of one exotic, it wasn’t the class overall.
Now that the exotic is getting nerfed to literal death, warlocks are going to fall even further behind.

In what aspect are we falling behind? There are other damage rotations that offer very similar single target damage as current Starfire. https://youtu.be/huqBEN_8fRI

Until this expansion, Warlocks have dominated Endgame on literally every subclass with a variety of builds. . Osmiomancy Bleakwatcher was literally required for like 1/3 of the GMs out there. Now it actually has some competition with Strand Titan and the Whinelocks whine. . SFP, Sunbracers, and Phoneix Protocol are literally 3 of the strongest Exotics in the current sandbox. Contraverse Holds and Verity's Brow are disgustingly good in a handful of specific NFs. Crown of Tempests and Geomags are like the worst of the endgame builds, but are still more diverse and stronger than what Hunters have on Arc. And Idk if you've seen the new Strand Fragment for WL, but it's going to give Strand Titan a run for it's money in terms of Suspension potential. . WLs are fine and have more build diversity than any other subclass right now. . Titans have 3 exotics (HOIL, Synthos, Abeyant) to play with while Hunters have 2 (Star-Eaters, Omnioculus) for legit endgame content (GMs, Master Dungeons and Master Raids). Warlocks have like 8. .

Hunters and titans are on par if not better then most if not all build for warlocks the only builds I don’t think those 2 can compete with is a stasis build because they didn’t leach from warlocks

Okay I'm talking about their abilities and aspects but sure lets go down the exotic rabbit hole of endgame exotics Hunters: Orpheus rig / Gyrfalcon's Hauberk / Star-Eater Scales / Shards of Galanor / assassins cowl. Titians: Synthoceps / Ursa Furiosa / Doom fang Pauldorn / Abeyant Leap /Armamentarium / Hallowfire Heart and more... Warlocks: Necrotic grips / Sunbracers / Contraverse hold / Nezarec's sin / Verity's brow / Felwinter's and so on... The point is the class abilites & aspects are what's lacking, looking at exotics alone isn't the full picture and just looking at them I see that each class has their fair share of good exotics.

Exactly, case in point Empowering rift does nothing anymore since damage buffs don't stack so what's the point in a stationary damage buff that offers no protection when we have things like armor charges or radiant that let you stay mobile. It's just a dead ability at this point.
