The trials population lives and dies by what’s good in pve. Whistlers whim isn’t good in pve. We’ve seen the trials population boost to high numbers when the weapon was good in pve, Reeds Regret and the Immortal. The pve player base doesn’t care about eye of sol, whistlers whim, Inquisitor, the machine gun etc. so because the pve players aren’t playing the population is gonna tank.

Good news - it was the crappy bow and still tons of people in trials. Although its probably b/c of double rep and need that fashion. Still im sure there is a small % of players that actually enjoyed their time and will be back in the future.
