Trials of Osiris - Player count imbalance needs attention
Several times while playing trials with a fire team of 2, we load into a match with only 4-5 guardians. Sometimes it was in my favor and other times it was not. I’ve had 3 v 1, and 3 v 2.
Being that trials is very competitive and requires 7 flawless games, this is EXTREMELY annoying. I understand someone may have backed out last minute, but they never even loaded into the game. We lost the match due to having a man down and this is unfair.

That one person had lost their mercy a few games prior and was on their flawless game…This is not cool. Super unfair to them. I would have given them the win if I hadn’t lost my mercy already as well trying to carry a friend.

Not having a 3rd cost my brother and I our mercy on the run that we got flawless last weekend. And to make matters worse, we faced a top .1% duo at that time. Needless to say we were not very happy. Luckily we still got the flawless done. One other match it happened in our favor.

2 RepliesEdited by Rainbine 9545: 4/3/2023 12:51:31 PMThink it’s cause they put trials at the max light level 1800 and the bad grind to get to it since some people see the light level recommended being it so they don’t do it and that’s to people who don’t spend all their time on d2 So while yes some players are playing a lot of it, some players who could be good or just not be light level are not reaching that recommendation, so balancing will be a issue with limited players

1 ReplyThe trials population lives and dies by what’s good in pve. Whistlers whim isn’t good in pve. We’ve seen the trials population boost to high numbers when the weapon was good in pve, Reeds Regret and the Immortal. The pve player base doesn’t care about eye of sol, whistlers whim, Inquisitor, the machine gun etc. so because the pve players aren’t playing the population is gonna tank.

9 RepliesIt’s not a bug, single players leave if they see the player count jump from 3 to 6 because they don’t want to play against a team of 3. This form of match dodging has been happening for years.

2 RepliesYeah that does get annoying. But if you have a pretty decent player on your team you can sometimes easily win the match. I’ve had a few games like that where it was just me and one other player and we won those matches. The best game in that category for me though was honestly during a freelance game when the other player on my team was MIA for two rounds and I had to do the heavy lifting. Now the other team of course got overconfident and assumed I’d just throw the rounds. Little did they know though😂🤦🏽♂️. Sweated mildly and on my own until the other guy finally started playing. Till we got to match point where the opposition only had one player because the other two left 😂😂😂😂. It was a funny match I tell you.

I had a match where the other side loaded in with 1 player. My side has a duo. I didn’t move the entire game as its unfair. The duo was happy as it appears and one of them pushed me off the map. Pathetic.
