I do not have artifice armor but I will unequip all artifact mods anyway, thank you

It’s worth doing regardless of artifice or not; there has also been a bug in the past where normal mods were removed if you’d had enhanced (artifact) versions equipped.

It seems like everything has a bug, and if it currently doesn't then it eventually will.
