Just a friendly reminder before next season
Knowing Bungie, it’s probably a good idea to un-equip any artifact mods you have slotted into your artifice armor before S19 drops.

1 ReplyCall me a dirty stinkin' casual, but I just can't anymore with this game. Too many stupid little things to look out for due to unforeseen consequences of the seasonal model and outright bugs. I'd understand doing something like this for complex code in the '80s for a production environment where stuff would write directly to hardware, but this is ridiculous in a game. So I say -blam!-. If something breaks, so be it. It shall remain broken. And I will play even less. Yeah, I'm that tired.

i have literally done this since the glitch of the first artifact. idk if anyone explained it yet but if you don't know what happened was that hc targeting was on the first artifact. when the season after that began, anyone who had the mod equipped had the mod completely disappear and it was ofc not on the artifact of that season. so some people had no hc targeting mod for the entire season. so ever since then i have done what the op is advising.

1 ReplyIf you have a lot of Artiface armour then you can use DIM to clear the whole lot in one go.... Open up DIM: in the search bar type is:armor (or perkname:"artifice armor" if you want to remove them on artifice armour only). next click the three dots in the search bar (not the hamburger menu) select 'Strip Sockets' and then select the Artifact mods. (pinched from Reddit ages ago, sorry didn't catch the name).

100% agree with this. My artifice armour on my Hunter is still broken from 6 months ago.
