I quit playing last year after Warmind. I lost my Xbox thanks to flood damage. I didn't start playing again until they moved to Steam.

I stand by what I said .. The gun shouldnt be handed out just because the quest is bugged right now ... You didnt have to go through the tedious task of opening all the forges .. Along with the "special" missions .. Than have to wait 3 days to hit 4th and final forge (bergusia) because they put some insane puzzle in there that even the best minds couldn't figure out.. Than because people dont pay attention they began complaining about Ada's rare bounty that was needed .. And the kicker was the 3 week rotation of shattered throne.... which is now open for good and not on a 3 week rotation anymore .. You have 75% of the quest eliminated for you at the very least .. Bugs suck but shit happens it'll get fixed.. If they give it out for free than players like myself should get 5k in bright dust because of the headache that quest caused (yeah I know thats absurd) .. Also keep in mind that all the forges excluding bergusia were character based not account based (I paid attention saved the bounty completed shattered throne and had the gun the first week we were able to get it)

Exactly man, 9 months ago, why do you care if someone who can't do it now is getting it by xur? You got it 9 months earlier Since the quest is bugged they should give it to players locked in the bugged step

Or they should just clear that step they shouldn't just get the gun because than what's the point of doing any quest? Just wait for a bug than complain about it till its given away

You guys act like most of us haven't been waiting for three weeks to get our quest step. I know exactly what's it'slike to wait three weeks for this nonsense. The difference is, you guys weren't locked out of Shattered Throne because of a bug that was "fixed." Additionally, you guys won't have to end up grinding this nonsense out again. I think it's only fair to ask that those of us who were cheated out of completion get some kind of recompense.

Once they fix it you'll have the gun if they give out the gun than they need to do something for all the players who completed the quest.. You had 75% of the quest removed ... Imagine they made you guys unlock all the forges first? Just like they made the rest of us do .. You wouldn't even be on this step right now .. Because if this just becomes a handout than what's the point in ever doing another quest in this game again just because there's a bug..bugs suck but its bs that you want a handout because of it .. Best case scenario they should clear this obsidian crystal step for all the people that are on that which is what they should do .. Not just hand out thr gun

I would most certainly be on this step by now. I started this quest three weeks ago. That's the point I'm trying to get across. Those in defense of us not getting a "hand out" are completely disregarding the work we have put in to this nonsense. Moreover, you can't even get the box without having purchased Forsaken. It's actually one of the reasons I broke down and bought it. Why should content I paid for be inaccessible to me?

You need to wait for the fix or they need to just auto complete the obsidian crystal step .. You dont deserve a handout just because the quest is bugged.. Its a shitty situation but if they give you and everyone else this gun without even doing the quest than they need to compensate the players who did the full quest and not this watered down quest plain and simple.. You have shattered throne 24/7 never had to open the forges you just needed to make sure its at max temper its bullshit your doing 10% of the work the rest of us did .. So yeah I'm fully against them gifting this gun .. Fix the step or clear this step so you can move forward with the rest of it

Agreed I got the gun when it was released, all these players asking bungie to make xur sell the gun or gift it is stupid, we all had to earn the gun, and as he said, Shatterred throne is accessible from the tab now, and the forges are on a rotation, we all had to either wait for the dungeon to come back, and unlock each forge, which took ages btw, so yeah... U wouldnt be where u r now, every game has bugs, wait for it to be fixed properly

Shadowkeep launched on October 1st. It's now the first of November. It's been out for four weeks actually and no one is asking for a hand out. I didn't get my legendary shards for free. Moreover, why does it matter? What's wrong with Bungie doing something to make an exotic available to people who've toiled for an exotic? Imagine if you'd pursued the quest line and been cheated out completion not once but twice.

Gun came out over 9 months ago .. I have a job I have no kids.. My cousins a cop.. He has kids.. He has the gun.. Stop using having a family and a job as an excuse why you didnt get this gun when it dropped over 9 months ago .. Unless you stopped playing than that's on you

Plus as i said in my previous reply, i'm not into sniper rifles, the only one i have is the D.A.R.C.I and i never use it

Once they fix the bug than they can complete it.. Also I don't take the time to creep peoples profiles to see how long they've been playing.. Its usually the people who've been playing the game that make these posts get off my 🍆
