Xur Should Offer Izanagi's Burden This Weekend
Xur should sell Izanagi's burned tomorrow. After having waited three weeks to get my key blueprint and having used the key only to find the quest is still bugged, I am admittedly annoyed. How dysfunctional this quest is has become simply atrocious. I imagine many people (myself included), have used the key to no avail only to feel cheated and dejected. Sure, you can blame that on ignorance. However, after having been told by Bungie that the quest was fixed I believe it's hardly our faults. A simple solution would be for Xur to offer the exotic this weekend. This would assuage the irritation many players have developed in relation to this quest.

I got lucky not too long after it came out I got the rare bounty, I agree with you though. With all the problems and the horrific drop rate on on the Rare bounty is absolutely ridiculous. I have a friend who has turned in almost 100 bounties and no rare bounty. Just let Xur sell it or add it to the Forsaken loot pool and regular exotic pool so people can get it from the fated engram.

2 RepliesI put the work into getting this gun when I first came out and I agree that it should put up for sell by Xur today. The quest sounds like it was made way longer than what it needed because you have to wait a week to hit the next forge to get the key. Now that it has been 3 weeks and it’s finally discovered that yet another step is bugged is total bs. If bungie doesn’t want to just give the weapon away if anything just let the people who ran this long quest have access to the rest of the mission so they can get the gun today.

4 RepliesYou have had 9 months to acquire this weapon. It has always been a good rifle, just came into the meta bracket due to the nerf to luna boots and rallies. Remove the quest step is a better solution. I suppose you'd want the catalyst with xur as well? As thats a staple in it to? Plan to ask bungie to include it as a world drop instead of heroic menagerie? Please, you have no excuse for not acquiring it...

1 ReplyDont be silly. Its ok not to have every weapon. Keeps the community unique. Id actually like to see them remove the ability to get exotics after a period. Or be on a 6 month to year rotation. Like warframe, keeps unique loadouts. So i think they should just remove the quest for next year. [spoiler]also, i already have it so im good[/spoiler]

I don’t think so. It’s an exotic quest. Once Bungie fixes the bug (hopefully soon), everyone will have access to acquire it.

Does anyone know if the quest is bugged after the shattered throne step? I inserted my obsidian crystal a couple weeks ago before this step becoming bugged, no I have to complete the throne. But I haven't seen anyone at this step report any bugs.

2 RepliesI get that the quest is bugged and it’s more than frustrating, but they don’t need to give the gun out for free or have Xur sell it. Ya’ll still got a bit of steps left for the quest and haven’t even gotten the to the difficult parts. Ya’ll still need to work for the gun.
