Funny how the Devs that made this company who they are have been dropping left and right. I'm glad he took them to court and basically said kiss my ass give me my money.

He didn't like the direction the company was going so created enough issues and drama to get fired. Bungie then took his shares illegally, so he took them to court and rightfully won.

Bungie was definitely in the wrong, both legally and morally when they took his shares. But remember, Marty still stirred up a ton of shit in an effort to get fired so he could keep those shares. Neither of them are in the right, but I still wish them both the best in their future endeavors.

Who wouldn't knowing how this company is running things. Hell, even the writer that made Halo's stories that also made Destiny story that was scrapped quit the company year before the game was released. That's not including many others.

This whole thing can be traced back to the heads' decision to scrap the main story. Some sources say it was good, some say it was terrible. No matter what they chose, there would've been controversy inside the company. I guarantee if they had stuck with the original story, whether it was good or bad, people still would've left.

True and that's because how involved Activision is in this company.

Actually according to the Kotaku article that we've been sourcing this entire time (http://kotaku.com/the-messy-true-story-behind-the-making-of-destiny-1737556731), Activision was extremely helpful in that they let Bungie push back the release date so they could ship their new Franken-game in a decent state. Besides that they were very hands-off. There is no bad guy in this story, only a lot of decisions that spiraled out of control.
