Next time you see Michael Salvatori or get to talk to him, personally thank him for being one of the most amazing Composers in the world with Game Music.
Never have I ever played a Videogame Franchise with more amazing music than destiny's.
Keep up the awesome work. I really look forward to more great spectacular Music in Destiny 2.

The man is underappreciated around here simply because Martin O'Donnell exists Don't get me wrong, O'Donnell is a great composer and was in part responsible for making Year 1 excellent and memorable. Hell, Eye of the Gate Lord is still my favorite boss theme in the game. But Salvatori has really made some excellent music for the game and it always saddens me when I see posts that say the music in Destiny sucks now when it really doesn't. Little known fact: Salvatori alongside O'Donnell has been here composing for Destiny since Year 1. Another little known fact: Salvatori along with O'Donnell is credited in a special thanks in the credits of Halo 5 for laying the groundwork of the inspirational music in the Halo series. Salvatori has history with Bungie much like O'Donnell did.

I would just like to say this to everyone crapping all over the OP over his opinion: how about you back up your opinion and actually post some examples of music from these games you believe has better music? At least OP provided an example from the game to make his point and support his opinion. I have yet to see anyone else here do the same. It's perfectly fine to prefer music from other games, it's a valid opinion but actually back it up It would also help people like me who haven't played every game mentioned here (I havent played any of the Elder Scrolls or Dark Souls games for example). It would help in being able to compare music between these different games and helps those from having to go to YouTube not really knowing what to look for. I could easily pull a song from one of the other games mentioned and it just so happens to be the worst song in the game and not a good representation of the overall music in the game

3 RepliesEeeh... I've heard better. Not that Destiny music is bad, by any means, but I couldn't listen to the OST for more than a day without going insane. It's just really... Repetitive.

2 RepliesI don't agree on Destiny's soundtrack being the best ever. I love it, don't get me wrong. However, Dark Souls 3's Soundtrack is one of the most beautiful and cinematic soundtrack I have ever heard.

I agree with most people saying O'Donnell was better, but that doesn't negate how awesome Salvatori's music is. [spoiler]Between all of us, though, Zelda and Halo have the best music[/spoiler]
