If they had used Ryzen, it would have delayed the launch of the console by several months. The Zen architecture just simply wasn't ready by the time they finalized their final specs.

Why? That would just be expensive for them to buy from AMD.

Yup, I was more interested in a price and game footage on it. All we got was a Forza demo designed for it. I'm sure the console will be good, but without games it's of no interest to me.

Yeah it is powerful but it's not everything the hype has put it up to.

It's definitely not what some were stating as fact, it's the most powerful just now but I was a little undrwhelmed by that reveal. I need exclusive games, making my old games prettier is not enough.
