Digital Foundry [did] pick a part the Scorpio to no end. {See edit3}
In case you don't care about the link, Digital Foundry has an exclusive on the Scorpio.
If anyone has any doubts or speculation on the Scorpio, this guy will clear it up. If you don't know who he is, technically picks apart games more than anyone else. If you want the specs or details on how a game or piece of hardware performs, Richard Leadbetter is the guy to do it.
We're on the final stretch. There's been a lot of speculation and promises and 100% of the Scorpio's specs and performance is about be spilled onto the internet. [b]Will it reach what MS has been promising?[/b]

Edit spoiler:[spoiler]Edit1: You heard it here first folks. Forza Motorsport runs at native 4k 60fps while only at 66% GPU load.
Edit2: We're not starting flame wars. The Scorpio is a huge win for the whole industry.
Edit3: I'm seeing a lot of cries for exclusives. While I agree that exclusives are a big part of the industry it is only April. Just because some good PlayStation exclusives missed their 2016 Q4 mark doesn't mean that Xbox should try and launch in Q1 also. E3 hasn't even happened yet. The Scorpio will be the best console platform for third party games and we don't know what 100% of this year will look like yet.[/spoiler]

Edit: Why are people taking offense at this? If you like Xbox, good for you, if you like PS, good for you. My opinion should have no affect on you. Enjoy what you like.

These are of course the same people who say "These games have the best graphics better anything than you have lololololol!!!!!" Also, the amount of people who really don't want the best bang for their buck are actually amusing. Ffs just get rid of exclusives already, these people would actually have to make educated decisions and it'd be hilarious to watch. I'm still not impressed by the Scorpio, nice catching up to an actual next gen system though.

2 RepliesHaha, I think it's funny people are complaining about exclusives. Sure they haven't had anything as of late but I still enjoy their games. It used to be all about how much more powerful the ps4 was to the Xbox one, and how Xbox one was just a giant paperweight. Now they announce the most powerful console ever and it's all about games. Pretty much everyone I know that like PlayStation only play the exclusives through one time and generally spend 90% of their gaming on multiplatform games. Just weird how nobody cares about how well games run anymore when it used to be the biggest issue. Before everyone complains about exclusives I would wait until e3 before judging. Who knows, Microsoft could surprise us.

Looks good although the price will be the main deciding factor for me. The last I heard, Microsoft is planning to release the Scorpio in the 4th Quarter of 2017 and I don't usually have a lot of disposable cash at that time of year. I'm also hoping there will a decent trade in deal for my Xbox One S.

17 RepliesI'm not too bothered about the console. I'm sure they'll deliver on the specs. The games worry me. I have not seen one game that I want. Forza ? Not interested, Sea of Thieves ? Definitely not interested, Crackdown 3 ? Maybe. I need to see what games they have for it first.
