Srl should be permanent imo. If Srl doesn't make any sense then the crucible in general doesn't make any sense.
In the crucible you have a bunch of reanimated zombies shooting each other makes a ton of sense.
Wtf does trials have to do with fighting the darkness?
Bring Srl back and let guardians do whatever they want in the destiny universe.

Well in the grimoire it says the crucible is used as a training ground for guardians to get stronger against the darkness. So, there's that.
