Make SRL a permanent activity.
It's a quite fun mode and it only coming once a year really has made Bungie's time spent on it a waste IMO. SRL, at the moment, is the sole reason that I'm logging in to Destiny. And as soon as sparrow racing leaves, I'll likely not be picking up the game again until the next content drop.
Now I know that SRL is staying in private matches, but that's not good enough. There's no way I'm going to be able to field 6 friends to play SRL, as almost all of my friends have quit Destiny completely.
Additionally, I despise using LFG sites because of the amount of toxic people there. Plus, getting 6 people together on LFG who all have good mics, connections, and personalities is damn near impossible.
So I ask you Bungie, why not keep Sparrow Racing? It's not going to hurt anyone or anything if it stays, it's just one more thing to do in the game.

1 Reply[b]U are so right![/b] I picked destiny up a few days a go and got 2 expansions and both the DLCs, as soon as i got my first sparrow i saw the race event but the next day it was gone and i was so let down. So i have never played or seen a match and have watched countless videos on how to find "SRL" and have no luck and find out that it has to be in season.

I like SRL but it has too few tracks at the moment for a regular activity.

I don't have an opinion one way or the other but: Why would you need the people your racing against to have mics and personalities? That wasn't the case with srl, I want to play a game not talk about shoes and cute boys

1 ReplyDestiny isn't a racing game. That's why SRL won't ever be a permanent fixture. Do the Raid or other end-game activities if you're looking to fast-track getting to 400 light. SRL was a diversion, something to do in a content drought. It's gone now. Bye bye.

1 ReplyCompletely agreed. Reduce the drop rates of SRL gear in the game mode, put it in the general playlists. The only thing is that the population is so low right now that normal pvp is dreadful. Bad lag, insanely sweaty etc and SRL being up drew most players away from normal pvp which hurt the population even more. It wasn't abnormal to have 10+ minute wait times that resulted in a control game launching with two players on one side and 4 on the other.

I think it should show up once in a while as an "Off Season" thing. No fanfare or quests. Maybe not even as a weekly. Just 1 or 2 days a month.

I was playing my final SRL match that ended at reset, but I went to check if it was in the private match settings, I didn't see it in their at all. Has anyone seen it in yet, or is it not available yet?

8 RepliesSparrow racing will continue to be available after the Dawning ends in private matches. Keeping it in public matchmaking would only hurt the remaining game modes that are already in need of more players.

I think it should alternate either monthly or bi monthly with Iron Banner. example: Week 1 - Regular Crucible Week 2 - Iron Banner Week 3 - Regular Crucible Week 4 - SRL (Just tone down decorations ALOT) repeat or 1 month its Iron Banner, next month its SRL. But I sense this may that might be too long a wait for Iron Banner for many PVP enthusiasts.

3 RepliesSrl should be permanent imo. If Srl doesn't make any sense then the crucible in general doesn't make any sense. In the crucible you have a bunch of reanimated zombies shooting each other makes a ton of sense. Wtf does trials have to do with fighting the darkness? Bring Srl back and let guardians do whatever they want in the destiny universe.
