Sparrow racing will continue to be available after the Dawning ends in private matches. Keeping it in public matchmaking would only hurt the remaining game modes that are already in need of more players.

If the other game modes are so great shouldn't they be able to stand up to SRL on their own?

The problem is there are too many game modes, and not enough players for matchmaking to perform properly. Adding any additional mode will only make things worse.

Then they should do away with some of the less popular ones. SRL seems to be popular right now.

Yes, they should do away with the less populated playlists. That might include SRL though. It may have only been popular because it was a limited time event.

Yes true, that would help matchmaking out.

Or they could just fix their matchmaker. On titanfall 1 on PC I can still get in decent matches even when there's only like 50 people in the playlist, so I don't what Bungie's problem is.

Yeah that's above my pay grade but yeah that would be nice. Fix some of that lag too.
