They always tell us the old exotic engrams won't drop new stuff tho every patch they do this...

We are all agreed on that point. The point that is being debated is ,when the new light level drops will the exotics now decode at higher light levels , allowing one to rank up quickly. I fall into the " that is what I think is going to happen" category. Either way tho nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Worst case, it doesn't work, I have a buttload of mats, shards , coins and motes at the exact time I am going to need just that. Not that I am really short anything but I have been grinding he exotic class items...
