So it'll be easier to get the year 1 weapons, but what about the zhalo? just pray to RNGesus? does it even drop from engrams?

Zhalo surely does drop - it was my first exotic post-tTK. I haven't had Last Word or Mida drop at all in year two - I bought updated ones at the kiosk.
