Update not dlc. And get cryptarch rank for new gear

They actually will carry. They have in past updates as well. I saved many on previous updates , and have had great success wroth then. I currently have 99 exotics awaiting. Its the "new content" ie.HoW, Dark below...that will not let them carry over. All items are currently coded in the game, tuesday just turns on the switch. Remeber when everyone was freaking out when one guardian was the only one who had the hunter chest piece when takenking came out?it was a fluke when he decripted a legendary. Wasnt until the next "update" when they time released that particular exotic.
