My vault is near full with exotic and legendary engrams and for me to hold on to engrams is difficult. Even if they don't change in to new level stuff I can still level my cryptarch.

Worse case scenario they drop as normal and you get a shed load of rep from the cryptarch giving you loads of packages.

I've saved a few, only to level up with rahool for a package though as I'm sure the engrams will still turn into old stuff.

The positives outweigh the negatives for sure. I've got a ton of blues though lol.

All I need to edge up is crypt. Stored about 20 exotic engrams; kept a few legendaries. Marks is nearly maxed out. Everything else is one the verge of grant a package.

Would they decode into the "new" exotic armor and weapons? Will a special engram acquired before the update decode into a Zen Meteor? (I'm on PS4) Also: does the increase in light level for legendary and exotic engrams apply for engrams acquired before the update?

6 RepliesI only prolly have 30 exotic engrams saved up in my postmaster But I do have: All factions on all 3 characters ready to level up Vanguard and cryptarch factions ready to level up Cryptarch will be leveled up with one engram on 3 characters Completed vanguard bounties ready to turn in Over 60 completed stolen and antiquated runes ready to use across all three characters 1000+ wormspore 800+ of each planetary materials 600+ Hadium flakes 18 glass needles 2300+ strange coins 9000+ motes of light. 200 ascendant shards 100 radiant shards 300 three of coins 180 exotic shards 200 legendary marks Tons and tons of glimmer consumables to turn in 10000 weapon parts 11000 armor parts 337 passage coins ;( 90 etheric light Among other things. I'll be 335 in a few days. Maybe hours. :)

There's not much point. With three of coins, and various exotic farming there's really no need Plus doesn't that defeat the purpose of playing it with your friends
