The "friendzone" was made up so men can blame a woman for her lack of interest when in fact you being a "nice guy" doesn't in any way obligate her to fūck you or have romantic feelings for you.
You know what's worse than being "friendzoned?" Thinking a guy actually cares about you, but when you make it clear that you're only interested in being friends he ditches you because he didn't wanna be friends, he just wanted to use you for sex.

You can be friends with the opposite sex but I think the problem Men will have being a friend with a women that the thought will eventually pass their mind "Would I have sex with her?" Yeah, but sometimes guys just aren't interested in being just friends with women. There are basically no women I would want to hang out with without the intention of getting together with them. They just don't share as many of the same interests. That's just my thought.

ANOOBALY LISTEN HERE. the friend zone was actually coined by Alexander George in 1983 in the article "boats on the west coast" published by Time magazine. In this article George speaks of how a woman said specifically that she wanted to date. Long story short she got naked with him and last moment ran to his pants and took his wallet and specifically stated that this is why she was there. It was manipulative at its greatest. She then said sorry Alexander, I now only want to be friends. BUT don't let this fool you ladies amd gents you can also be friend zoned as a woman. I do it to ladies all the time after they buy me movie tickets to see Rey in TFA.
