The "Friend Zone" is a myth.
What really burns my ass is coming on here almost every day and reading about some poor soul and how they've just been friend zoned. Guess what kids, there is no such -blam!-ing place as the friend zone. It's just a make believe concept dreamed up by the youth of today to make themselves feel a little better about being hard done by.
If someone says they just wants to be your friend then more then likely they thought that all along and never had any intention to practice the art of conception and or pleasure play with you. You can't be put into a zone that you're already in so how can you be "friend zoned"
So just to help here is a list of some of the many meanings of "I just want to be friends"
-you're ugly but I think you're interesting.
-I'm just your friend because I want to sleep with your friend.
-I only ever wanted to be friends.
-it took you that long to ask me out that now I'm not sure I want to be with a person with no balls.
-I actually thought you were gay.
-you are so emotionally unstable that I'm just offering friendship so you don't do yourself harm.
-you're kind of creepy and it scares me a bit so I'm not going to let you down as hard as I should.
And these are just a few.
So there you have it kids THAT is what your friend zone is.
And remember. If someone just wants to be friends that's ok because members of your preferred sex are friends with other members of your preferred sex and if you play your cards right sooner or later your friend will probably put in a good word for you.

You know what's worse than being "friendzoned?" Thinking a guy actually cares about you, but when you make it clear that you're only interested in being friends he ditches you because he didn't wanna be friends, he just wanted to use you for sex.

What's worse than being "friend zoned" is when you ask a girl out, she says yes but then never gets back to you or talks to you again. Like I'm cool if you don't like me that way and don't want to go out with me, just be honest though.

I have a friend who is beautiful, intelligent, and has a tight body. I mean everything about her is perfect, and I knew she had something for me. But I never made a move not because I didn't find her attractive but because I actually valued our friendship. And I wasn't ready for any relationship at that point because of my drug problem. The point of the story is... The world doesn't revolve around you so stop dwelling on shit and stop using the friend zone as a defense mechanism for your insecurities.
