I'm absolutely terrible at PvP. What helped me was doing it in 6v6 classic. Finished the whole questline from start (PvP portion) to end (Shield Bros) in 4 hours

If you also just can't use TLW for the life of you, you can always wait until you have full super->equip->Activate super and go on killing spree->unequip->rinse and repeat.
