Well, no, not in the sense of real sports. They don't require you to be physically active in any real way. But that doesn't mean they shouldnt be considered competitive. They can be nationally recongized, regulated and sponsored just like physical sports, no reason why they can't. They are still enjoyable passtimes and extremely competitive. They are of their own breed.
