After talking to the ancient dragon what are you supposed to do I don't know what to do in those memories. And how screwed am I if I accidentally angered him and now the dragon kinda wants to kill me.

Get through to the end of those memories and examine the Giants on their backs to get their souls. You can get 1 giant soul from each memory, 1 from killing the two giants in black gulch, and 1 from killing the dragon you pissed off.

When your in the memories you run to the end of them all and get all of the giant souls on the dead giants. Once you get them you go to above where you fought the last giant and open the door there using the kings ring. That tree is where you fight a boss.
