I just got my first Elder Cipher a few days ago and it most definitely popped up with the 3 weapon choices when I went to start it. I assumed you were choosing that specific quest chain to obtain that weapon of your choice.

No they just show rewards, once you're done you choose one of the three

Okay but the rewards ARE the weapons. So it pops up showing the 3 weapons at the start of the chain and you choose which path you want to take. You obviously don't get the weapon until it's complete. That's what we mean.

You rechoose a reward just encase you changed your mind.
