And where is the Problem for Hardcore Players?
There is no Problem with this shards at all.
Got round about 90 shards left After i've leveled all Exotics up.

Problem is what are you going to do with 90 shards. If you keep playing you will get more and soon have more shards than you have exotics to possibly upgrade. Same problem with ascendent and radient shards that Bungie solved by letting the speaker convert them.
-
But still, there Are no Problems with shards. There Are more Important things in the Game^^
-
The problem is that they are a currency that is now useless to me and many other players. there are many things in this game that can be improved. This is just a small part of the in game economy that needs improvement. This is a place for feedback on the game. If you think a topic is not important than don't post in that thread to much because it keeps bumping it to the top where other people, and bungie will see it and think it's more important than you do. You should be posting in threads that are about the issues you do care about and posting your own threads on issues you don't see people talking about. IMO this is something that's an easy fix. Just because there are things you think are more important do you think bungie should ignore smaller issues that might be easy to fix while they figure out how to solve bigger issues?

His point is, now that you have them, what will you do with them
-
Keep them for TTK. Because Exotics wont ne obsolete ^^
-
Wait till taken king where they'll be needed to upgrade.
-
IF that is how we continue to upgrade exotics I have enough shards to upgrade every thing I have and still have shards left over.
-
You've always needed an exotic shard to upgrade to the new DLC, even dark below. Xur required an exotic shard to upgrade to the higher damage.
-
Yes. I now have so many that I can upgrade everything when the next DLC comes out and still have some left over. So they are useless till then, and then they will only be useful on day one of TTK then go back to being useless. That is why you should be able to convert them to a currency you do need. Like what they did with the other shard economies.
-
So, strange coins are also useless but I just got none of them from the nightfall yesterday. Once you've played long enough you'll always have excess of material. Eventually you'll be complaining about having a ton of etheric light sitting around with no use. That's now it works.

Wouldn't it suck if real world economies worked like that?
