Been breezing through softs and all of sudden -BLAM- I am dead stuck on the Rotten!! I feel as though he is real simple but as soon as I get him to half I just seem to crumble. Any tips and words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated ;)

There's two summons, lucatiel (if you talked to her) and the hunter. I recommend them both for distraction

The one thing about the Rotten that messes with me is some of his sweep attacks. My advice is to stay in his ass and roll through his attacks early, because they hold some delay.

If you can, use a weapon with thrust attacks. The Rotten is weak versus thrust.
