Have you tried it? Unless they patched it it doesn't work. Chest opens with no rewards

I have been doing it since October. It has always worked. The only way it would open with no rewards is if you did hard first or you are opening the wrong chest. The chest that drops exotics can be opened twice as long as you open it on normal first. And it can drop an exotic each time.

Yelsa is correct. You can open the vog exotic chest once on normal an once on hard. I've gotten thunder lord from it on normal, and truth from hard directly after. Therefore it is possible to increase your exotic chances x2. Thank you yelsa. You've been extremely helpful to many commenters even tho they continue to insult you when you are speaking truth. We need more people like you around here.
