How to increase your exotic weapon drop chance by 75%
Hi there everyone,
Check out the video for details on how you can increase the amount of times you have a chance to get an exotic weapon to drop in the raids by 75%. The video isn't long, it is just under four minutes.
The average endgame player at this point will have three 32's and do the raids on hard for each character. So by doing that, you get 6 chances from VoG and 6 chances from CE giving the average endgame person 12 chances per week for exotic weapons.
By using this method and hitting the exotic chances on normal first then on hard you increase the number of times you have a chance at exotic weapons for VoG from 6 up to 12 and for CE from 6 up to 9. This gives you 9 chances more than the 12 the average endgame player hits. 9 is 75% of 12. Therefore, this increases your chance at exotics from the raid by 75%.

Edit 2: This method of doing normal first then doing it on hard to increase your drops only really applies to exotics. If you are going for raid weapons or armor, depending what it is you are going for should dictate what type of run you are doing. For anything from VoG I recommend just running hard. For armor from CE run the abyss and bridge on normal first then hard. For secondary and heavy weapons from CE beat Crota on normal. If you just want primaries from CE then just do CE on hard.

Mix in the flour. Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour 10 minutes (check at 50 minutes) at 350°F (175°C), or until a tester inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool completely on a rack. Remove the banana bread from the pan. Slice and serve. (A bread knife helps to make slices that aren't crumbly.)

Your just using up both chances at once when you do it on hard, say with the exotic chest in vog, you grab it on normal then hard that's two chances for two chest openings. Yet when you do it on only hard you open it up and use both of your chances at once. So that's two chances for one chest opening. Sorry but your not really Into something....prove me wrong.

2 RepliesI feel like I remember getting double exotics in VoG back in the day, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that Deathsinger only drops an exotic once per week. Not sure about Crota, but I'd assume he's the same. You'd probably just get the rest of your materials and a primary.

This proves OP doesnt know what he is talking about since it has long been common knowledge that the gear only drops on normal (except the helmet). Gear CAN drop during a hard raid but only if you havent done normal first. Doing crota on normal is only useful if you need some of the weapons he drops.
