people have got 2 exotics from atheon and crota. YOU get both your exotic chances when you do it on hard first.

The Mythoclast is on a separate roll from the other exotics, and is the ONLY way you'll ever see (currently) two exotic drops at once. Doing normal then hard is the only way to get all of your exotic drop chances on an encounter. You get double the regular loot doing only hard mode (legendary armor, shards, etc.), not double exotic loot.

The Vex is not obtained from the same roll as the exotic chance on Atheon. That is why every double exotic includes either the Vex Mythoclast or the Crux of Crota. That said, those are boss drops for your first Atheon. I would have been happy.

True. It happened to me as well, twice. Got the vex+hawkmoon and vex+suros.

I have spent hours researching this on google and other sites. I have never come across any evidence of two exotics dropping on HM without one of them being the vex or the crux. The vex and crux are a separate roll from the exotic chance roll.

Vex and crux don't count in the normal Exotic loot table...
