IMHO dude you are not missing out on anything. Hawkmoon looks cool but the "exotic" status it's the only exotic thing about it.
I can't understand why the community it's overhyping this damn gun... Maybe they are just trolling Xbone users? I don't know.
I just use it for patrol or easy bounties since it's utter useless on raids or roc strikes.

I have seen it been a really effective hand cannon for pvp. But I also want it because I don't have it. I use my timers lash a lot so can't wait to get my hawkmoon and make my own true opinion of the gun
