Don't you lose the special ammo switching back to a decent gun?
Could be good for heavy. I always say I'm going to keep one around but usually just end up scraping it. They should make a good exotic sniper that has that as a third perk as long as it still has decent other exotic perks of course

Patience and time was originally supposed to have that perk instead of third eye. I wish it stayed that way

Oh yeah that'd be great! 3rd eye is nice and all but not THAT useful in comparison

I believe you lose a bit. But it's not like crucible where you lose it all. It's a pretty handy trick for grabbing heavy. Very useful if you're soloing a nightfall.
