Is Dragons Dogma underrated? I get the impression it didn’t do very well but I really loved it. I only played it for the first time this year (even though it came out in 2012) and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Definitely a really solid game even by today’s standards. I’m not sure why I ignored it for so many years. Edit: Also Assassins Creed Unity was absolutely panned on release but I quite liked it.

  • I recently went back to Dragon's Dogma. My first time with it was on the PS3, a few months ago I got it on PS4 and started all over fresh. Love that game. It really grows on you.

  • I absolutely loved that game, so many hours spent in the wilderness and dungeons xD

  • Ohh, I’m a fan of both of those games. I felt dragons dogma was something like skyrim, but with a few cool mechanics for curatives, and much cooler boss fights and fights in general. So over all a great game.

  • It reminded me of Dragon Age but with much better combat. It had a few rough edges and the story sucked but overall it had a lot of unique ideas (like the pawn system). I really loved it.

  • The combat was definitely the highlight of the game. Boss fights were actually fairly challenging and fun, unlike the unending dragon grind in games like skyrim.

  • It was pretty well recieved, did not sell millions but it did well enough to allow a remaster on PC and current gen. Definitly one of the better RPG's out there.
