2 RepliesTransformers: Fall of Cybertron. That game is what the movies should've been like. Also you get to tear shit up as a dinobot. Which is nice.

Terraria is hardly underrated. I see praise for it everywhere. It is pretty awesome, though. Except for Moon Lord. He’s annoying. Anyway, my answer goes to Skullgirls! Best darn fighting game out there, imo! Hopefully now that Indivisible’s out Lab Zero can remake Skullgirls with a few more characters! They’ve got quite a list to choose from! And maybe they could add in a guest character, too? Kampan, super spy and master of espionage, for Skullgirls!

Mod Nation Racers. The company went bankrupt after about a year of this game being out and they shut down the servers, but the idea of making your own race track, car and character grabbed my attention. I've not played another racing game like it.

Just Cause 1. 2, 3, 4

Definitely titanfall 2 or dark souls 3. Everyone that’s played dark souls 1 or 2 seem to hate 3.

6 RepliesEdited by Uncanny_Vale: 10/14/2019 5:41:48 AMIs Dragons Dogma underrated? I get the impression it didn’t do very well but I really loved it. I only played it for the first time this year (even though it came out in 2012) and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Definitely a really solid game even by today’s standards. I’m not sure why I ignored it for so many years. Edit: Also Assassins Creed Unity was absolutely panned on release but I quite liked it.

I’m going to give a runner up answer here, and say Don’t Starve. Man, I love this game. Also, I apologize to all the pig men who died fighting tentacles (6-8 on my current world). I just really want a rain coat. Rest in peace knowing that you meat has not gone to waste.

Edited by slayer britt: 10/15/2019 2:20:43 AMLot of good games that don't get much publicity. I loved War for/Fall of Cybertron a lot though, wish they were more popular.

12 RepliesFallout 4 Sure it made some mistakes (like a voiced protagonist and a more stifling dialogue menu) but it isn't as bad people pretend. The dialogue options are about on par with Oblivion, but it is a step down from New Vegas.

The darkness series. Interesting story. Good voice acting, specially Jackie.

Edited by AztechTwoStep: 10/14/2019 7:14:47 PMMass effect andromeda is a GREAT game for all the backlash it had. The only thing inherently wrong with it is the mouth animations. Great base rendering, textures, exploration/open world features, etc...

5 RepliesGris. Easily the most beautiful game ever created, both from a visual perspective, and in terms of the music. The watercolour artstyle is not only beautiful to look at, but the way it looks like someone has spilled a drink over a painting in various scenes also reflects the emotional state of the main character, and the emotional blur she is dealing with. I'm a great believer that the best games don't focus on gameplay, or story, or aesthetic, but craft those elements in unison and fuse them together thematically and functionally. Which is why the "Metroidvania" elements of Gris work so well. I don't want to spoil the abilities you can unlock, but they invariably fuse with soundtrack, art style, or both masterfully, and also have something to do with the story. Plus, although some would criticise the simple platforming and puzzles (IGN) those work really well in this game, alongside the movement which is both heavy and graceful, and the way those two work in unison - there's one jumping puzzle where your jump switches the platforms around. It's a simple idea we've seen hundreds of times before, but something about that is special here. Also, it's just refreshing to see a 4 hour game in the age of 100 hour open world action adventure games with more crap than they know how to flush.

6 RepliesAssasin's Creed IV Black Flag first game I ever played on xbox. The story is so different from the other assasins creeds and the gameplay and graphics are good. I LOVED it. Beat the story 10 times and have a save that has everything in the game

19 RepliesIn some ways (Beware, heresy incoming) Terraria is better than Minecraft because of its fleshed-out (no pun intended) boss fights and it’s emphasis on the “fight” portion of the game. Of course Minecraft easily outclasses it when it comes to building, but I digress. One of the games I enjoy is of course EA’s battlefront 2. It’s a beautifully looking game

5 RepliesUmm... Paladins. Basically to Overwatch like Brawlhalla would be to Super Smash Bros. I probably have a higher K/D in that game than I do any other game. And I only played it for three days before deleting it to make room for... BATTLEFRONT II!!!!!!! Which is also amazing. Way better than at launch. And Vader is free. And Grievous. And edgy sand boi. They’re all free. No lootcra- surprise mechanics.
