Prison Of Elders lvl 35 Arena Walk Through [Comment Strats]
First off I would love to hear people's inputs on different things that would help with lvl 35 arena. Below I will list each Round 1-5 plus Skolas and any tips to help other Guardians out there would be amazing!
Round 1: Hive Arena, Mods:Exposure & Brawler Objectives: None
Round 2: Vex Arena, Mods: Grounded & Airborne
Objectives:Detonating Splinter Mines
Tips: Jump ONLY when using Heavy Weapons for extra damage
Round 3: Cabal Arena, Mods: Catapult & Arcburn,
Objectives: Diffusing Splinter Mines
Tips: Invective or any shotty with arc is amazing against elites
Round 4: Fallen Arena, Mods: Specialist & Juggler
Objectives: Eliminate Critical Target
Tips: NLB, Universal Remote, and Vex Myth all count as Special Weapons.
Round 5: Fall Arena BOSS, Mods: Trickle & Small Arms
Objective: Kill Servitor Boss
Tips: Boss's HP regulates when more fallen spawn
Round 6: Skolas Fallen Arena, Mods: Solar Burn
Objective: Servitor Bonds, Devouring Essence, and Diffusing Mines
Tips: You can Blow him up using all Gjallys and Heavy synth. Just remember to still diffuse the mines once he is dead.
Would Really love to hear some other strategies out there for Skolas for all of those that may not have a gjally. Please do comment any other tips to help out all those Guardians working on lvl 35 Arena!

Edited by xSon of Apollox: 6/11/2015 6:33:20 AMWe did it as follows: Start. Go to the left. Have player A fire ghorn while players B and C stun-lock Skolas with BH. When player A is out of rockets, players B and C switch to ghorn and fire while player A fires BH. As soon as mines spawn, player A runs to defuse (they should be out of ghorn by this point) Skolas should die before the second mine spawns. Everyone disarms mines. DANCE PARTY!!! (optional)

Played with an awesome dude earlier that had been kicked from another game, clearly knew his sht tho 2x people gally - 1xBH When 2 peeps reloading, BH guy gallies! Worked a treat and we burnt his ass in one!

Last round, after killing servitors make sure a Titan pops weapon. Have at least 2 people run gjallys and have the one without use black hammer. Pray a spawns where you are, if not have the black hammer person go to A while the other two use their gjallys still.

1 ReplyThings get so crazy so fast it feels impossible to kill him without Gjallarhorns. If you don't have 3 gjally's, I'd say don't even try it. It's so hard it's not even fun anymore. Infinite spawning waves of mobs...it's ridiculous.

1 ReplyJust tried it with my group at 33 and we had to bail. cant blow off your work when your in the military. We had an issue of being one shot by shrapnel cannons. Skolas is really mobile and hard to track down so that is one of your main hurdles. Waiting to be level 34 might be a good idea.
