Get to the bridge at the Abyss, put your back to the bridge and pull out Thunderlord. Nothing will touch you and you can run across. At the plates, keep it out at all times except when using the sword. You'll obliterate everything that tries to kill you. For the run to the chest and Deathsinger, I mow down the enemies instantly clearing a path for my team to shoot rockets. For Crota himself Thunderlord is useless though.

Sounds like you can complete all of those with a legendary MG. They can all tear up thrall, no point in using an exotic slot on it.

Legendaries bounce off of Wizard majors. Do you have Thunderlord?

Nah but the guy a play Destiny with constantly has it and I trust his opinion it. Its good. Just not the best for CE. And since when does a 331 MG [i]not[/i] kill a Major Wizard?
