It depends on why they're burning it though. It's a respect to the Author if you burn the book instead of selling it to a store, burning it for any other reason could be looked on in a worse light.

Well... I don't know I love books and burning one just seems... Wrong. I've never sold a book though, I have donated a few old ones to a charity shop but other than that I keep all the books I can get to build my own library with them :D I have Two and a Half Bookcases full of them at the moment :D

It can be if you're trying to silence the spread of information, but with the internet these days that isn't as much of an issue in most places. Yeah me either, I might have given away one or two though. I'm running out of space to put all of mine...

I ran out of space a few years ago :c I just started stacking the books sideways in organised columns so I'd still be able to find what I was looking for but be able to fit 50 books on a 20 book shelf :3
