I tire of answering the same questions again and again and having to explain what I'm talking about here, for those that think the Used Games market and Used Books markets can't be compared at all, you need to not come into threads like this guns barred thinking there's anything wrong with asking this question.
To those that like to make accusations of mental retardation, I never expected more from those users to begin with.

1 回复
You're supposed to burn your books if you are getting rid of them it's said...
Literally nobody says that.

2 回复>The Flood lashes out against the idea of burning books because a used book market is viable. >The Flood will defend the war against Used Games because used games kills developers (lol). Make a choice Flood. If you're against burning books, then you should be FOR used games.

1 回复>letmetellyouwhythatsbullshit.png 1st amendment, and no copy right law says that. you're not supposed to buy or sell a book with no cover because it was likely sent back to the publisher(because the store wanted a refund since it wasn't selling well enough or they simply had too many of that book) be recycled and marked as destroyed and unsold surplus inventory, and thus the publishers and authors got no royalties since it was stolen before the process was completed. and burning your HDD or BD-rom/DVD-roms in fire when you're done with a game? 1.) toxic chemicals like lead(in it's dangerous form, not the inert form) and mercury released as inhale-able smoke and by-products. 2.) major waste of time, money, and technology 3.) makes you look like some technotarded Zoolander.

2 回复The fact that you suggest and fervently believe we should burn books after reading them suggests you've never had to live on a budget. And I'm willing to bet not a single author worth his weight in words has ever suggested that. I'm willing to bet my first born son it's the author's agents/publisher's idea.

3 回复Why the hell would I do that? If I wanted to get rid of a book, I would either donate it to my library or recycle it if they didn't want it. If I'm getting rid of a game, I'm going to sell it. Why the hell would anyone burn a book or a game?

3 回复由Kamots编辑: 11/8/2013 2:47:10 AMI don't ever get rid of books, let alone burn them. As for games, I only ever get rid of them to try to get a newer game. This usually can only happen at a store that buys used games, unless I can find somebody local that is willing to buy the particular games I am trying to sell at that point. I typically can't. I think they can be compared, to a point. It certainly doesn't matter to games like GTA V that make an immense amount of money, regardless. Also, it probably isn't a good idea to burn games in particular.
