A scientific theory is "a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world, based on a body of facts that have been repeatedly confirmed through observation and experiment. Scientific theories are the most reliable, rigorous, and comprehensive form of scientific knowledge. This is significantly different from the word "theory" in common usage, which implies that something is unproven or speculative.
Might as well be called a fact, especially with the large amount of evidence going for evolution.
This, and Evolution is both theory and fact. A theory as Fatman defined, the explanation, and as the process of evolution via natural selection. It is an observable fact, anyone who doesn't acknowledge that is deluding themselves.
Im not disregarding it. Merely saying that while it does have large amounts of evidence to back it up, in its entirety it is still a theory as not everything has been explained.
