Well it's really inconsistent in zoning corners because it's random in which direction the wall faces for me at least.

If you throw it on flat ground it spreads out perpendicular to the direction you threw it. So if you throw it in front of a corner for example it would spread out in the direction around the corner blocking the path. You are probably throwing at a wall and then it spreads out randomly when it falls to the ground.
