Don't be discouraged by the mindless, juvenile invevtives lobbed at you by the toxic D2 fanbois/apologists/cultists/no-lifers/addicts who derive their sense of self-worth, esteem, confidence and superiority from how well they play a GAME.
I can empathize with you. I'm a solo player currently at power level 400, and I'm ready to quit the GAME. I despise and am sh!t at the jumping puzzles and trasversal sections, so I can't get past the beginning of The Whisper GM conquest mission, as it uses up all my revives.
And having to wait every week for Zavala to dole out his few higher-level gear is a PITA. Not to mention the criminally-bad RNG, or the toxicity when posting experiences, opinions or suggestions that D2 elite-wannabes don't like.
But from what I've seen, read and heard online, a lot of players share your frustration with the game. Let's just hope that Bungie evacuates their bubble, and really starts listening to the majority of the playerbase.

由Lord Mansa編輯: 9/2/2025 10:47:14 AMIt's not so much relearning how to do it, as it is really not liking having to do it. The jumping sections just feel like easy, cheap, lazy and archaic level design, created to make the game artificially longer and more difficult without providing actual content. Jumping already feels floaty and imprecise. But almost every environment is built over a bottomless abyss. Also, there are aliens who've conquered space travel, yet have no concept of stairs or elevators? 🤣 Not to mention that guardians are often jumping to thin, tiny ledges while holding a weapon IN BOTH HANDS. I expect to fight ads and bosses; I shouldn't have to fight the environment. However, since it's one of the few ways to level up past 400, I did it - solo, so as not to eat up a fireteam's revives. After God knows how many tries, and how much time, I completed it with revives to spare. But I really didn't enjoy the experience. BTW, I don't mean to knock anyone else who does enjoy the jumping sections. I hate it when people attack other players for daring not to like what they like. As the saying goes, if you like it, I love it. It's just not my favorite aspect of the game. 😄

I've been farming Caldera, K1 and Creation. But I'm getting only 400 power level gear, which I already was before I completed The Whisper and got 3 pieces of 403 gear. I got only 1 piece of 403 gear from playing Solo ops, and tgat was only after playing them a helluva lot of times. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. How are you farming them?

由Alleviate_Fate編輯: 9/2/2025 11:53:53 AMYou definitely didn't get 3 primes from one run, you get one prime every 20 or so runs no matter what you do. That's why people are farming solo ops until their eyes bleed, because it's time efficient. You get 0 power rewards unless its a prime and again they drop 1 in every 20 give or take. So you will get 3/8th percent of light every drop. Then when you move to 401 say the activity will drop 401s, those add to the percentage also but only by 1/8th of a percent. Rinse and repeat until eyes bleed.

And the weird thing is that, even when I get higher level loot it seems to always first go to slots where I don't need them. Is it just me, or did Bungie design the game that way on purpose, to force players to grind more? BTW, I've noticed this long before the EoF dlc.

由Lord Mansa編輯: 9/2/2025 12:27:04 PMI don't understand how Bungie can claim to be listening to player feedback, and yet keep making such boneheaded, tone-deaf, stupid decisions that are progressively running off the playerbase. They seem to live in a bubble, and listen only to D2 elites, addicts, YouTube content creators and Twitch streamers who've lost touch with the majority of players a long time ago.

Thanks, I think I will. I normally don't play mobile games, but I've watched D2 YT content creators who also say it's a lot of fun, even moreso than D2 in its current state. Are you playing DR on mobile, console or pc? I play D2 on pc, so I'll have to find out how the emulator works.
