Adept Weapons Sound Great! Now Do It On Raid Weapons Too.

Raids should be able to drop loot on par with Flawless loot. Maybe for raid challenge completions only or something, it really doesn't matter. Raid loot should be good loot.

  • I really am glad that Bungie is going back to having Adept weapons in Trials, I have 2 fundamental concerns: 1. If the Adept versions of weapons are overpowered, this can cause a Crucible imbalance where "the rich become richer". I don't think having +3 to each stat is game breaking, so no problems there, but I am a little concerned about the mods. Having mods that provide large bonuses to stats could be problematic, setting certain Adept weapons above all others in Crucible. I don't think it will be enough to break Crucible, but it is always a concern when looking at PVP. 2. Adept weapons cannot become the next Mountaintop/Recluse. The PVE meta should not be dominated by PVP exclusives (and I think the same should be true in the other direction, meaning the best PVP weapons shouldn't be locked behind raids). I don't think these weapons are going to give enough of an edge to become PVE meta, but it is a concern. I think an easy way around this is to have the mods only work in PVP or even Trials specifically, similar to how the Last Wish mods will be updated. At the end of the day, I think Bungie needs to consider having Adept weapons for all endgame content. This includes Raids, Dungeons, and Grandmaster Nightfalls. This would allow more reasons to play endgame content overall.
