Izanagi is a Burden (Broken Exotic Questline)
My D2 timeline is a little askew (D2 Console->PC->cross-save old Console data to PC)
That being said, I had heard there were bugs regarding the Izanagi's Burden questline for those who had not completed it in the original Black Armory release. I confirmed my suspicions after finally receiving and completing the rare bounty portion of the quest yesterday (10/30/19), then turning in the Obsidian Crystal to no apparent quest progression.
I confirmed in my review of my quest step on 'Lock and Key" that there was indeed no progression after consuming the crystal. Then went to the forums, finding myself affirmed in my depression at what I found.
Basically, I can't imagine that I speak for myself when I say this needs immediate resolution. This is a highly sought weapon, especially in the current DLC endgame content. I have personally been attempting to claim it for months as is. To finally get the opportunity just to have it squandered on a coding error is very frustrating.
At this point, just give out the gun?? I've heard there have been multiple patch attempts at this point, which don't appear to have worked.

It's nice that in update news it's updated to state: repaired cuz I finally was able to use the mission, then inserted the last key that I was missing (black armory key) and nothing happened… Like tell me when you gonna repair it and I hope it gonna be till friday cuz I'm waiting for it really long time will I get the key or will I have to grind the thing all the way again? If I have to grind it then hah would be very bad thing.. Now I'm just angry of it.

that really sucks. it took me nearly a month between when i got the quest and when the rare bounty dropped but at least it completed. i still carry around a completed rare bounty ready to turn in. this bug sucks I feel bad for you and will give a bump for support.

2 回覆So, the quest is finally "fixed" to where I can get the key mold, but then I have to wait 3 days until the forges rotate through. Then when the Bergusia forge is finally up, I get the key to no avail when I find out after inserting it, nothing happens. I try running it again just to get one in my quest log/inventory, but it wont drop again since technically I already used it. So now there is more waiting for yet another fix, all to most likely wait even more for the correct forge to rotate through again. Hopefully nothing happens again after that. Cmon now Bungie, just throw this in everyone's bags and call it a day.

First of all there’s no excuse for the quest being messed up but why did you not get izanagi months ago during Black armory? It’s been out for months.

1 回覆Yeah was The same for me yesterday. Finally i did get an rare bounty, did 25 forges for nothing.. Was so angry and upset.. Been working for this quest a Long time. They fixed one bugg with The quest and then it moves to another quest step🤦♀️🤷♀️ so sick of it. Bungie can you please fix this. Some of us have been waiting a Long time

14 回覆Honestly it sucks the quest is bugged but I don’t feel sorry for people that have been playing since black armory and have just now decided to complete the quest because it’s “meta” for pve. Obviously for new players it’s a different story and i can see how it’s frustrating

Yea it refuses to give me 2 of the keys. Claim the loot on the crate thing and just get nothing. 🤷🏻♂️ it would be nice to be able to get it out of my severely clogged quest log, which is full of pvp stuff I refuse to do, lol. No thorn/last word/ace of spades/etc for me. 🤷🏻♂️ Now if they brought back Invective it would be a different story. I’d go through the torture of pvp to get that again. I love the Fallen forge(Gofannon I think?) though cause I just pop on Riskrunner and go to town. 🤣 Shame the other forges have little to no arc damage.
