Basically, I can't imagine that I speak for myself when I say this needs immediate resolution. This is a highly sought weapon, especially in the current DLC endgame content. I have personally been attempting to claim it for months as is. To finally get the opportunity just to have it squandered on a coding error is very frustrating.
At this point, just give out the gun?? I've heard there have been multiple patch attempts at this point, which don't appear to have worked.[/quote]
I apologize if this sounds a little insensitive. First of all there’s no excuse for the quest being messed up but why did you not get izanagi months ago during Black armory? It’s been out for months.

No worries mate, I would wonder the same. I had completed all BA item quests originally. But as I stated, I cross-saved my account for the sake of emblems and status, at the unfortunate loss of all progress from Black Armory content going forward (And some great god roll crucible guns might I add) I haven't complained about grinding to rebuild all of that lost time even once, but there's a first time for everything. I feel like not being able to even progress on what I feel is admittedly one of the most time consuming quests (not speaking to the effort it took to get Thorn), especially during a time when it is becoming highly sought after due to the new DLC, should be given far more focus and attention than Bungie seems to be giving it. Eververse can wait for five minutes.

I can't say anything about the guy, but in my case i did everything when BA launched, including Izanagi's quest, but then i couldn't buy the new dlc in my original account, needed to change to this "new" one, now i need to redo everything just because of the season pass

I can't speak for Visceral_Fear, but in my case I haven't played since the base game and came back to destiny with Shadowkeep hence why I didn't get the weapon when it came out. Also there are a lot of new players because of new light which obviously didn't play the older content. I don't think it was that hard to figure out honestly, not everyone has been playing the game every single day since it came out.

New light players you got me on. You can’t expect to have what dedicated players have. You must find other meta alternatives. That all being said, the quest should be fixed immediately so all players can get the weapon.

So you are trying to tell me that it's someones own fault for not having enough money to buy the expansions, or having somthing like a medical condition or any other reason, right? That kind of people are just "less dedicated players". I would be agreeing with you if it was an exclusive thing, like an event in which you got the weapon and after it ended it would be gone forever, but since it's not you are just looking over everyone elses shoulder for not having played the content when it came out no matter their reason.

I stuck around through black armory. It was a complete shit of a dlc or content update, and so was the one after. You can’t say “because you didn’t play our lacking content, you now can’t have this weapon”. Truth is Bungie NEEDED People to quit so they could finally realize “this isn’t working, we need change”.

You do realize that those who migrated over with cross save from a ps4 or xbox accout and may have had izanagis and forsaken also had to rebuy the dlc for pc right, which means they still have to regrind for izanagis from scratch right, do you think its fair that they have to rebuy the dlc again just like everyone else switching to pc and then not getting what you pay for. Because I don't it's a giant slap in the face at best.

That's one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. The item is not time-limited nor did BUNGIE ever say it would be. The only requirement it has is that you own forsaken and then you're all good to pursue the weapon. Whether someone started playing at launch or 2 years after launch the quest should be functional and able to be pursued. End of story.
