Are house-flippers ruining the housing market?
Flipping houses has been a pretty big deal the last few years. Y'know, buying a crappy house and fixing it up, and selling it for a profit? There's people out there that really need a house, and these flippers are going around buying up all the cheap properties that could otherwise be housing a family in need, instead of being upgraded for a rich couple.

4 RepliesIn this town, where there was a housing boom from 2001-2004, there were many people who were flipping houses. Now, there are many empty houses up for rent and there is about a 27.4% homeless rate in this town now. The town I'm in is ranked in the top 20 of Forbes' "Most Miserable Cities in the US" because of the housing market crash.
