Well the people like me who are pretty decent and chose not to rely on an OP weapon are excited for the challenge.
I know for a fact that I have lost hundreds of deaths in PvP because of a random Thorn tag after I just finished killing someone else. That shit is annoying. So annoying.

I hear you. I do a lot of experimenting too and die in the process. I just wish this games has more really special exotics and not less. Using Thorn may be gets me an extra 5 kills a game when I use it, but I would expect that from one of the best guns in the game. Now if it got me an extra 10 or 20 a game (like the original out of the box Mythoclass) I would totally be on the Nerf wagon.

My main gripe with Thorn is in Trials. It's really ruining the game mode. I love Trials and have gone flawless several times on all my toons. I really hate long range maps, Widows Court and Black Shield come to mind, where Trials is completely ruined with Thorns.

Ya, everyone wants to go flawless so there isn't a lot of experimenting going on in Trials. I went flawless my first time trying in Trials but haven't played since because all my friends bailed the game suddenly.
