Already seeing "31's only". Pathetic.
Coming from a guy who literally spends at LEAST 10 hours helping other people on the raid every weekend, you know...27's, the occasional 25, I help carry those people. As a level 30, the Crota raid isn't hard. I got to the NightDancer witch or whatever the tootlemount her name is in less than half `n` hour. Literally asking for 31's only is pretty sad, it's only been out for 2 days, you should be helping level 30's that have the proper gear to run it with you so that they too can become level 31. Then maybe return the favor if they become level 32 before you when the hard mode comes out.
Just don't be an ass hole. I'm more than likely a better skilled 30 than you are a 31.
Edit 1: I understand that it's a site that finds ''randoms'' and that people are scared of ''randoms'', but remember that saying your mother / father taught you when you were younger? Don't knock it until you try it? Yea...might want to do that.

If I was putting a group of randoms I would ask for my level and up just because I want the highest chance at success. You can't deny that. 31 is simply more likely to be not garbage than a level 30. Only because they are allowed to be worse while still being better.

It would b nice to do most of the raid as a 30 so u can have a chance on some raid gear.who wants to level up vendor shit and then step into CE and get raid armor right away to replace the shit u just bought

1 ReplyMultiple 31s makes the crota fight MUCH easier. My group failed countless times with 2 31s (only one gally). With 4 31 (and two gallys) we bear him in 6-7 tries. I think the increased damage from 31s on Croats shield is really important to ensure you can damage him twice per sword grab. Then again I've only completed the raid once so I'm no expert.

I can totally agree with you on that argument. I was one of those guys who got 3/4 lvl 30 gear (with an exotic), and just could not get that last piece! Literally 8 weeks of shards, chatterwhite and sparrows. Thinking of all those days were I wanted to hard raid but could not find a descent group to accept my lvl 29 titan I make sure now i'm a 31 to help out 30s in the new raid. But it's imperative to have at least one maybe two 31s. Its bleeping hard I still havent beat it!

Just beat crota with a lvl 29 in my group. As long as you have a 31 for sword and a couple people with gjallahorn, crota is cake.

A group that relies on level [i]that[/i] much probably won't clear the bridge anyway. You don't have a right to be in someone's group who doesn't want you.

You can't overcome the 40-50% damage reduction with skill alone and dying while fighting Crota has shitty consequences. I would suggest that you get faction gear like the rest of us and get to lvl 31, it's a lot easier at 31 and your skill will truly shine then. The problem is that no matter what in this raid we are going to be at a level / damage disadvantage so I can't blame people for wanting people that can close the gap a little and stay alive a little longer and do a lot more damage. It's not just a tiny amount we're talking about here.

I have every single vault of glass reward there is but had no choice but to go to the vendor (which was hard and I now feel like a lost noob). I hate what they've done but it ain't like they're going to do anything about it. May as well face facts, we wasted 2 months of our time and we'll do it again when they unlock the rest of the locked disc content.

Can't say it wasn't expected, but I myself will avoid those people once I attain level 31. I just automatically think people who post a "required level only" post are horrible players and suck In my opinion but this is not always the case
