I FINALLY JUST GOT THE MYTHOCLAST!!!!
I've been waiting so long for this guys. I just joined a group of 29's and 30's and it took us about an hour but we killed Atheon, and when we did I got the freaking Mythoclast. Sorry, just had to vent because I'm so excited. I'm aware of the Nerf, but a PvE buff is coming and it's not nearly as bad as some of you say it is. I mainly play PvE anyway, and used it in PvP last night and on my first match got 25 kills and a 2.5 KDR, which I'll take all day

2 RepliesI have a feeling that this is going to come in handy for the next raid. Wizards usually have solar shields, and the 'best' gun you can get out of the Vault of Glass is solar. Coincidence?

I've got it fully maxed and it's awesome for PVE now. It just burns through ammo I always run out.

Its maxed out but my vision of confluence shits all over it in PvE (cant wait for buff, though it may be too late with the games coming out in the next 9 days) I never really liked crucible. But i tried it with the mythoclast while leveling it up, and i was kickin ass with it. So much so that i actually kinda like crucible now

I refuse to use it until I turn in enough bounties to unlock some upgrades. I might consider using it once they buff it for PvE so in hopes of that I'll spend the time maxing it out. Congrats though! Edit: It's really too bad that people who have it are assumed to have cheesed Atheon for it, especially when that isn't the case for a lot of us. And that's another reason I don't use it, because everyone assumes you got it by pushing him off the edge.

Just use it till it's nerfed into oblivion like universal remote 3 of my friend delete theirs today it should shoot slugs have good range BUT invective and rare shotguns are better that's sad

Just got this today, too. He had a little bit of health so while everyone was in the portal and destroying supplicants. I was in the middle platform shooting him with my icebreaker. As soon as everyone came out. I had already killed him. While I waited to see my rewards. I saw that I got the vex another helmet. Some shards and another ship. Now there's no reason for me to beat Atheon on hard. I just need the raid fusion and pulse rifle and I have everything. I also liked the vex in pvp. It's amazing.

I am one of the first 3 to be teleported we came before a Praetorian and 2 Goblins. I go around the side with the Relic and ask for assistance with the Praetorian before the first Oracle spawns. They sent rockets and a few primary bullets in his way, I deliver the final blow and demolish the remaining Goblins. We come out victorious against the Oracles and head through the portal with 30 seconds to go for our Times Vengance. We all go to the middle, our Titan made a Force Barrier with Weapons of Light, and with our 8x damage buff, we take out 2/5 of Atheons health. We did the exact same with the next run, same exact people teleported. However, in the third one, different people were teleported, I was however, still teleported, everything goes well against the ads and the oracles... except the portal wasn't open. The people in the main room thought we were at Mars (a mistake which could've easily ended in a wipe) We quickly yelled " The portal isn't open!" I didn't hear anything really, everyone was talking over each other. Next thing I knew, I heard the drums which we hear after defeating Atheon and I was visited with the color of bright yellow on the right side of my screen the "Vex Mythoclast."
