Forerunners are super powerfull
The forerunners Have better technology than the hive. They also have an army of sentinels . They could just use the halo rings and boom by by hive
Hive only have space magic and the Hell mouth. Other than that they don't have anything. Their space ships are just floating rocks with no real engines.
They are super weak, the thrall are stupid. The trooer is a little smart.
The knight just loves swords and rocket launchers.
The wizard. Meh
Orge meh.
They have poor technology and only weak magic to help them :p

3 RepliesForerunners are completely OP as a sci-fi race, they've got this one in the bag. A single Forerunner Warrior-Servant can link their armour up to 1 million Weapon Ships, their mutations enabling them to perceive objective reality totally differently by viewing multiple dimensions at a time which enables what is essentially a degree of precognition. That means you need only 1000 Warrior-Servants to have an armada of 1 billion Weapon Ships, all controlled by 11 foot tall precognitive, trans-dimensional warriors. The Forerunner population in the Orion Complex numbered in the trillions, so if even 1 billion Warrior-Servants were to go to war, they could collectively control 1 quadrillion (1,000,000,000000,000) Weapon Ships. This isn't even taking into account their 100km long Fortress-class vessels, and their Planet Breakers which can hold up to 5000 Warrior-Servants as well as dynamically reconfigure their geometry (as two-thirds of the vessel is comprised solely of hardlight) so any shots fired at them would just miss. Then there's the Mantle's Approach which is almost 400km tall, 142km long and wide, and is described as being one of the smaller warships. Then there's the fact that Forerunners could initiate a stellar collapse of whole stars which they did on such a regular basis with their war against the Flood, stars were essentially just stellar grenades. And there's the Miner installations like X50 which had the power to both destroy and build entire planets. And then there's slipspace tactics which was utilised in warfare - compressing time, space and matter, and they could fire weapons from their ships into slipspace which would affect enemy vessels in normal space. And then there's the Jat-Krula sphere where trillions of vessels formed together to cover every possible entry trajectory across multiple dimensions so no vessel could penetrate their defences. Not to mention Shield Worlds like Onyx which was constructed out of trillions of Sentinels which could merge together into one massive entity, they wiped out an entire Covenant fleet in mere minutes. That's not even taking into account their ground units. Individual Seekers and War Sphinxes had enough firepower to level entire continents on planets. If the Hive were even remotely a match for the Forerunners, then humanity in Destiny's universe would be completely fcked.

The forerunners would win. That's not even up for debate. lol

9 RepliesBit if they infect a forerunner ....

5 RepliesThe halo rings are ineffective as they wipe out all sentient life which includes the forerunners. I mean that's how they went extinct and the flood still lived for god sake.

28 RepliesEdited by 27towels: 5/26/2014 2:00:31 PMBut if the hive are space zombies, they're already dead and the halo rings only kill living things so if the forerunners did use them they'd just wipe out themselves. HIVE WIN!

1 ReplyThis dumbass... smh
-
12 RepliesEdited by Joyeuse7: 5/24/2014 4:16:27 AMThe Hive have Ogres, which means they have Shrek.
-
9 RepliesThe only reason this poll is a sham at this point is because we know nothing of the hive at the moment. Put this poll up again 6 months from now and we'll see where they stand. For all we know destiny is an alternate halo universe where the forerunners went insane due to the flood's contamination. Anything is possible right now.

2 RepliesYea except the forerunners are all dead.
